Grant Webster
Chief Executive Officer
Grant has been with thl for over six years and has been in the role of Chief Executive Officer since December 2008. His background includes senior executive roles across the tourism, hospitality, gaming and retail industries.
Grant held director and general management roles within the retail sector before moving into tourism. Prior to joining thl Grant was a General Manager at SKYCITY Auckland.
Grant holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Victoria University and has completed executive studies at the Insead Advanced Management Programme in Fontainebleau, and Monash University, Melbourne Australia.
Ian Lewington
Chief Financial Officer
Ian leads the finance function for thl, including reporting to the Board of Directors, external reporting, internal and external auditing, investor relations and banking relationships. He also fulfils the New Zealand Stock Exchange requirements of thl as a listed entity. Prior to joining thl in 1999, Ian spent 13 years in financial management roles for Fletcher Challenge. Ian holds a Master of Commerce (Hons) degree from Auckland University and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and New Zealand Institute of Directors.
Quinton Hall
Chief Information Officer
Quinton heads up information technology, the interactive team, the project management office, group procurement, group property and human resources. He is also responsible for the Waitomo Group, Kiwi Experience and Ci Munro. Quinton joined thl in September 2006 from NZ Lotteries and has a background in risk management, project management and technology delivery supporting strategic initiatives.
Mike Horne
General Manager New Zealand Rentals Operations
Mike leads the New Zealand Rentals Operation including Motek Vehicle Sales having rejoined thl in September 2010. Prior to this, Mike had two years as Chief Executive of Auckland Aquarium Limited, running Village Roadshow’s New Zealand attractions business. Mike was previously with thl as General Manager of Fullers Bay of Islands with general responsibility for the Northland region. Previous experience included senior management roles within the Hospitality and Events sector both here and in Australia, and more recent interest in areas of Conservation and Sustainability, having served on the Northland Department of Conservation Board in 2006 and 2007. Mike holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Massey University.
Kate Meldrum
General Manager Marketing & Customer Experience
Kate joined thl in 1991 in the Sales and Marketing team as Account Manager for North America. She left in 1996 and held several part-time and contract marketing roles whilst raising a family before re-joining the company again in 2003 as Sales & Marketing Manager for New Zealand. Kate commenced her current role as General Manager Marketing & Customer Experience in November 2009 with overall responsibility for the positioning, development and promotion of the thl brands both domestically and internationally. Kate holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business from Auckland University.
Andrew Rickett
General Manager Australian Operations
Joining thl in March 2012 Andrew is responsible for thl’s Australian Operations. Having commenced his career in the United Kingdom as a Panel Beater Andrew has extensive industry knowledge, operational and executive management experience. Andrew has owned a rentals business, held the roles of Director Europcar Southwest, City Manager Hertz UK, and most recently Strategic Development Manager, Europcar Australia / New Zealand based in Melbourne. Andrew is a member of ‘The Institute of the Motor Industry’.
Daniel Schneider
CEO & President – Road Bear RV Rentals & Sales
Following the acquisition of Los Angeles based RV rentals company, Road Bear, Daniel joined thl 31st December 2010. A Swiss and US citizen, Daniel has 19 year’s experience in the USA rental RV industry with expertise in sales, operations, product design and business general management/ownership. Daniel holds a Bachelor degree in Automotive Engineering from Biel Switzerland.
Sue Sullivan
General Manager Sales
Sue joined thl with a focus on international sales and marketing before holding operational roles in both Australia and New Zealand including General Manager roles at thl Rentals New Zealand and The EX Group. Sue now heads up the global sales team, with crew located in Australia, Germany and the UK representing all the thl brands. Sue is responsible for maintaining relationships with key industry bodies in New Zealand and Australia and sits on the board of the Tourism Industry Association and the New Zealand Backpacker, Youth and Adventure Tourism Association. Sue holds a MBA from Massey University in Auckland.
